Hi there,

I haven't written my blog in ages!!!!! OK, I am sorry, but it is hard to blog, facebook and call mummy when you ride 100 km a day!!!!!

A little recap:
We left Glacier view and entered the grizzly bear county (we still haven' t seen one yet) we reach Midway gas station and met two of the most kind human beings ever(Jay and Debbie) who provided a free stay in their renovated shool bus only for the cyclist that every year adventure up there!!!
After few miles, a ranger stopped us and asked if we saw the grizzly eating a moose a mile before (apparentely they get very aggressive if they have food) but it turned out we just passed next to the bear without even noticing the peril!!!
We have meet so many nice people that it is unbelivable. A lady who was not happy to have given us so little water (going the opposite direction of us), bought more and send some stranger to look for us several km away from her. God bless her.
We meet Bill the 80year old man who cycled all the way from Fairbank to  Whitehorse, in 9 weeks, for a bet with his friends back in California. (very inspiring!!!) He was later going to Vancouver. Check out the milage on that journey!!!
Thanks to all the countless people who stop give us water, coffee and food or just honk at us along the way.
We have now pedalled 1500 km (apart from the strech across the border that was too rough) and have meet 4 bears all very close to us, only a few meters away, 2 moose and a disgustingly cute porcupine that reminded me the advert for "stop and look" in the UK. We will soon be in Watson Lake. We hope to rest a little then off to Liard Hot Springs where I will just lay in hot water for few days ahhhhhhh!!! I simply cannot wait. Stay tuned!!!!!!
