We finally reached Belize, Caye Caulker a paradisiac spot in the middle of the caraibian sea!!!!
We sst to be here at least a week then take a sailing boat from here to Placencia, but as it happened to be here life is a big ¨dont worry be happy¨ and our tour operator was in so called holiday!!!!!!! we seattle for a little tour here and there around the island and the best one was with the Black Haks we went on a sailing boat drinking rum punch and playing bob marley all along with a great fun group saw turtles and dolphins sharks and rays we had a blast!!!!!!!
An hurricane was going to hit the coast so we thought it could be better if we would move inland and thought to go and visit Tikal, as it turn out to be a fab idea as our mate from the island got evacuaded few days after.
Tikal was fantastic veruy unspoiled and Guatemala for as much we saw was ok apart from the lack of food that seem very scars all around definatelly not enough to feed Brian.
After a week in a tiny island and disappointed we dint find a way out the country, after we came back from Guatemala, we decide that the best was to cycle along the only road avalaible and go ourself to Placencia!!!!
We passed Belize city and Dangriga and werent not impressede then decide to carry on to Placencia with 42 degree and a straight road with no shades but finally we arrive and it was beautiful maybe a little more expensive than Caye Caulker but fab!
Unfortunatelly we missed the boat to Honduras, with that said we missed the ONLY weekly boat to Honduras, and we had to wait another week in Placencia but i guess there are worse places to wait eheheheheehehe
